Paws for Latin Brunch

A fundrasing event held by Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation,set up by a group of volunteers. They will be bringing dogs and puppies available for adoption, short and long term fostering  to the terrace from 12 to 1. Come and support over 100 dogs that are resident at our kennels, waiting for their forever homes and hear how you might like to get involved as there is something for everyone at SKSFF.

Cost: HK$450 for the 1st 50 persons; and thereafter HK$500 includes starters, mains , dessert and free flow Cava, cocktails and beer along with entertainment and a latin band, raffle and  a Pinata for the children.

Anti-Slavery Summit

GS1 HK Food Safety Forum 2017

Consumers are having growing concern in food safety and food quality, due to a series of food fraud and food safety incident outbreaks followed by rounds of large scale recalls. To help the food and food service industry preserve consumer trust, GS1 Hong Kong is committed to innovating new traceability standards and solutions and gathering the industry practitioners for exchange and updates. GS1 HK will host Food Safety Forum 2017 for the third consecutive year, with the goal to strengthen industry collaboration and enhance the industry competitiveness.

Themed “Food Brand Protection: Increase Consumer Trust”, this year’s Forum will bring together the collective wisdom of over 300 industry experts and practitioners to improve food traceability practices as well as to drive effective adoption of International standards and technology for food management systems. Belt and Road Summit 2017

The Belt and Road Summit brings together senior government officials, representatives of international institutions, business leaders and industry experts from countries along and beyond the Belt and Road to exchange views on multilateral co-operation and explore new business opportunities arising from the Belt and Road Initiative. The inaugural edition in 2016 attracted 40+ heavyweight speakers and 2,400+ participants from 48 countries and regions.

Under the theme of “From Vision to Action”, the Summit this year will feature insights of senior officials of related economies and case studies highlighting Hong Kong’s role in helping companies to unlock the massive Belt-Road opportunities.  The full-day programme will comprise a high-level symposium with panel sessions, thematic breakout forums, a keynote luncheon, an exhibition, as well as an investment and business-matching session.

He was previously a professor at Stanford University; Co-Director of the Centre on China Innovation, China Europe International Business School; and more recently a visiting research fellow at Oxford and INSEAD. His highly praised book on innovation (Yip & McKern, China’s Next Strategic Advantage: from Imitation to Innovation, MIT Press 2016) is an authoritative guide to China’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and the innovation capabilities of Chinese companies.
