John Eales, Australia's Most Successful Captain to Headline Rugby Lunch

The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong & Macau is holding one of the longest-running lunches with support of the Hong Kong Rugby 7s. Supported by Commonwealth Bank, the lunch will start with warm-up cocktails sponsored by Robert Walters and will feature the most successful captain in the history of Australian rugby, John Eales AM.

John was inducted into the Sports Australia Hall of Fame, the International Rugby Board Hall of Fame, the Australia Institute of Sport’s Best of the Best, awarded the Australian Sports Medal in 2000 and made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 1999 for services to the community and rugby.

The Australian’s Mens 7s team will be in attendance and the team’s new coach Geriant John will also participate in the lively panel discussion.

This will be the 17
th year that AustCham and Commonwealth Bank have partnered to run this key event on the Australian business community calendar. Justin Sampson, former ESPN Star Sports Rugby Commentator, joins us again to emcee the event.

The Australian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong and Macau is the largest offshore Australian Chamber of Commerce globally and is the second largest of 28 international chambers in Hong Kong, with more than 1,500 members, representing some 550 companies.

Members are senior representatives from the major Australian companies in Hong Kong, as well as a cross-section of local, international, small and medium-sized business operators.
