23rd Annual AustCham Westpac Australia-China Business Awards Winners Announced

The AustCham Westpac Australia-China Business Awards Gala Dinner last night recognised Australian and Chinese businesses in Greater China across a broad spectrum, from small entrepreneurs through to large publicly listed companies. Hosted by Beverley O’Connor, Presenter on The World, ABC News 24, the evening presented 11 awards recognising businesses and individuals who have demonstrated strong commitment and leadership to Australia-China business. With a record 600 guests in attendance at the Pudong Shangri-La and keynote speaker CEO and Managing Director of Blackmores Christine Holgate delivering a stellar keynote address, the night was an unforgettable one. Other notable speakers and presenters included The Honourable Steven Ciobo MP, The Honourable Andrew Robb AO MP, Australian Ambassador to China Jan Adams, and Chief Executive of Westpac Lyn Cobley. Media sponsors ABC’s Australia Plus Network and International Channel Shanghai (ICS) were present on the night to capture the celebration. Winners and guests were interviewed and ICS shot a live television cross, featuring a brief interview with AustCham Shanghai Chairman Peter Arkell. The winners in each of the award categories were announced amongst much-deserved celebration.
