Benefits of AustCham Membership
The Hong Kong-based Chamber is the largest Australian business community outside of Australia, and is the second largest of some 28 International Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong. Membership of AustCham Hong Kong offers the following benefits:
The Chamber has a charter to represent and promote the interests of Australian business in the region which it pursues through business-to-government relations with the Hong Kong and Australian governments, leading policy institutions and individuals.
The Chamber stages two events, on average, each week to provide members the forum for meeting new contacts, potential clients and suppliers and to open up business opportunities.
Regular seminars, panel discussions, and professional development talks are co-ordinated by the Chamber to enable members to meet their peers and increase their knowledge of sector interests.
The Chamber’s Committee network opens up a new level of business engagement with key decision-makers and business leaders. The Committees are open to all members but only those who attend gain access to the private briefings and events organised at this level.
Members generally pay 50% less than non-members to all Chamber events, from 25 person professional development seminars to 450 person business luncheons.
The Chamber uses its network and contacts to offer business referral services.
Members can engage the Chamber’s very cost-effective external event management services which provides all logistical support for the staging of an event or seminar for your company, in Hong Kong or Macau, at 20% less than the public fee.
Members pay 20% less on all Chamber advertising channels (reaching a database of about 6000 individuals) through the monthly austcham news, M2M e-flyer communciation, website and iphone app advertising.
