Area of Focus: Food and Beverage sector in Hong Kong

The F&B committee is a group of industry stakeholders with an interest in promoting premium Australian food and beverages.
 

Engagement and Mission

To support and promote Australian businesses and Australians in the food, beverage, and hospitality sector in Hong Kong and promotion of Australian products in Hong Kong.
 

Primary Functions

  • Connectivity: drawing together stakeholders within the industry to reconnect the community and forge new and meaningful networks.
  • Engagement: Raising awareness of relevant issues within the committee and broader chamber membership as appropriate.
  • Advocacy: Promoting the interests of members and the sector, through constructive engagement with the relevant authorities (Australian and Hong Kong Government).
     

Looking to the Future

  1. Showcasing Australian success stories in Hong Kong, through AustCham events, relevant media channels and the broader AustCham community to inspire the next generation.
  2. Supporting a post-COVID recovery and sustaining the Food, Beverage and Hospitality sector through advocacy and influence.
  3. Taking full advantage of the recently ratified free trade agreement.
  4. Create a supportive, fun and inclusive environment to enable the community to connect and engage.
